The Crap Cutting Yogi
Keerat was born with an innate gift of knowing a deeper meaning to our existence. She often felt a presence around her and conveyed it to her mother who in turn always commented that they are “angels” of light that surround her. She could “see” a large glistening golden Cobra that followed her around but nobody else could see that. Her mother took her to local priests and medicine people to make sense of Keerat’s dream encounters and visitations. The only advice was always that she is a “blessed soul. Thus she carried on just like everyone else and reached all her developmental milestones age appropriately.
Keerat felt compelled to help her peers and was often found befriending beggars on the street. She welcomed those that seemed most unfortunate yet to her she saw no difference whether by appearance or creed. She went on to qualify as a solicitor against all odds when her education was sorely disrupted by a lack of finance. Determined, she worked 17 hours out of the 24, from a glass collector at a local club, to a waitress and receptionist in the day time. During this time, she had the good fortune of visiting a remote village in the state of Maharashtra, SHIRDI. It was in the wee hours in the morning when she sat with so many others before the Tomb of Sai Baba of Shirdi, a saint and seer. Suddenly, she was filled with tears of ecstasy, her temperature rose to a feverish state, and she felt a surge and thunderbolt of lightening strike her insides like a million doses of pure love. This was in 1999.
What followed thereon was a renewed devotion and a point of reverence which would give her more insight into her earlier visions as a child.
By April 2009 following another visit to Shirdi, she was made redundant as the head of litigation in a law firm to her utter surprise yet there was a calling for something else.
At this point she didn’t know. Suddenly, the visions returned, and this time every night, she was woken up around 2:30am by a knock on the door.
This went on for quite sometime until she started “remembering” with her journey to Kedarnath in the Himalayas.
This was the first of many which turned into a total circumambulation of India visiting and staying at the most revered sites including some in Sri Lanka, Nepal and Bhutan.
She shaved her head first at the behest of her Guru, Sai Baba if Shirdi, and thereafter for the Goddess in her, at Vaishno Devi in Katra.
In her years spent at these pilgrimages, she faced the most heinous of situations against her person. Yet.
She remained steadfast in her resolve in completing the circumambulation that started in Shirdi and ended there after almost two years of travelling around these sites alone.
Upon her return to the UK in 2013, she knew she had been reawakened without any turning back this time.
Her kundalini awakening took over and rather than return to practice as a solicitor, she carried on her path of meditation and healing.
She has since embraced her path as a Yogi a mystic and a friend to all those that cross her path. She has spent her life mastering herself and finally made the bold move of going public. Keerat, is committed to bringing her own experiences with the gifts of awakening; to help raise the consciousness of humanity and aid in a healing journey that is self initiated.
There was so much more we could say about Keerat’s journey, yet, it is what it is. She continues to unfold layers of infinite wisdom in the seams of her being and gives you this unadulterated, without any curation, just the whole truth as is. Because. The truth never changes; just the messengers.
